Hi The Serviceshave a lot ofconnections and dependencies on each other. Usually when one fails, you will find others that have also failed. There are several threads on this forum dealing with this particularissue. Go to the following link. Thanks for your help but have already been to those threads and tried that agian. Also i found out what stuffed my wireless network, a program called "sysinternals" as soon asi installed that i could not find any wireless networks, trying to remove this program did not help andhearing that microsoft bought this program just added more stress to my problem.

Hi The 'Sysinternals Suite' is simply a group of tools used for troubleshooting. I can't imagine how just installing these tools would corrupt a wireless connection? How did you determine this? With so many services misbehaving and the other problems, you may be better off to just cut your loses and perform an upgradeinstall, after you backup all of your critical data. straight after installing the program my wireless network connection cut out wich it has never done before and when trying to find the network agian none could be found, The wireless service stoped and would not start agian with errors, using my onbaord wireless or my d-link wireless PCI card.I have just re-installed windows.

It will be much easier and much more efficient to re-install windows - though it can be done - trouble shooting and fixing each service will take far longer. It's likely the issue was caused by malware or could the hardware be faulty? In Any case to fix the Windows Event Log Service follow this guide: Windows Event Log Fails
