Windows could not reconnect network drives
Even though I indicate that I want my credentials saved, the OS continues to prompt for my username/pass on every reboot. The network server (which is always on and connected to the same switch) is running Samba. The problem had never occurred in Vista or Win2003.

Are you logging on to your Windows 7 machine with the same user name and password you use for the Samba server?

Check your Credential Manger to see if your Samba account information is there. At the Start Menu search dialog box, type Credential and select Credential Manger to investigate.

I have the same problem as AaronLo! I'm running Windows7 RC already. On the beta version this problem was the same! The way you described does NOT solve the problem!I have to enter username and password after each logon to access the samba network drives - ALLTHOUGH username and pass are the same as on my Windows7 client!

I have the same problem. Each time when Windows starts I have to enter username and password, to connect to the samba network drive. The "Remember Me" check box in the logon window seems to not work at all.
