Windows cannot connect to the printer. No printers were found.
This is the error message I get on a few of my fleet of computers. (both desktop and laptop) Out of a little over 500 computers it happens on about 10 I guess. I have tried everything I can think of including asking HP for a driver (which they have supplied). O?S is Windows 7 and all are HP Printers usually HP Color laserjet 3600C. Has anyone else sorted this out somehow??

Not answered. Did you read the submission before answering? I have same problem: only one of my win7 PCs "Cannot connect to the printer. No printers were found." when I'm right-clicking > "connect to printer" ON the printer that I see on the network print server (server 2008). ALL other win7 PCs connect just fine. Details: 1) I'm browsing \\<server>\<shares> 2) I right-click on the printer that I want to add on my win7 PC and click "Connect". I get the above msg. 3) HOWEVER, I CAN connect to only 2 of my 12 network printers. Interestingly, the 2 I can connect to are different models (Toshiba) than the rest (Ricoh).
