Windows automatically minimize on their own when opening games or screensaver turns on.
This is my sons computer, whenever he tries to open one of his games or when the screensaver turns on, the program opens then automatically minimizes itself. I just put in a new HDD and loaded it yesterday with Win XP SP3. My son is frustrated and I'm stuck, none of the keys on the keyboard seem stuck and I don't have this problem with IE or MS Word so I can't figure out what is going on. I've updated the video drivers and adobe flash but still have problems. Help!1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello R. Jason,It appears to me that the issue is caused by the Video drivers, I suggest that you reinstall the drivers for the Video card and check if you have the same issue.Reinstall the drivers for your Display adapter.a. Click Start, select ‘Run’ in the Run dialog box type "devmgmt.msc" and press Enter.b. Expand "Display Adapters", double-click on the entry of the display adapters.c. Click the tab "Driver", click "Uninstall".d. Click Start. In the Start Search box type "appwiz.cpl" and press Enter.e. Remove the entries related to the display adapter. Then reinstall the driver with your driver CD that came with your computer.Alternatively, you can try to uninstall the driver from the Device Manager, and then go to the computer or the device Manufactures website download the latest driverNOTE: Don’t uninstall the drivers until you have the source to install the drivers back to your computer. Also create a system restore point before you uninstall the drivers. Thanks,Irfan H, Microsoft Answers Support Engineer. Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
