Windows are appearing cropped Windows XP
I'm having the same problem and cannot figure out how to fix it. It just happened to show up one day, I hadn't installed anything new, uninstalled anything old, changed any files, nada. I have no double arrow at any of the corners to make the window bigger, the fonts look different then they did before and I can't scroll anywhere to see any of the other options. Hi gwnyvere, 1. Did you check if you face the same issue in a new user account?2. Have you checked after changing the display theme? You may check in a clean boot state. To perform the clean boot follow the step 1 mentioned in the below article and then try checking in this clean boot state - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135If the issue gets resolved check which non-Microsoft service is causing the problem; referring to the article and following other steps. After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:a. Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.b. On the General tab, click the Normal Startup option, and then click OK.c. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.Hope this helps. Thanks,Meghmala – Microsoft SupportVisit ourMicrosoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think
