Windows Xp Defragmenter Error Code! some files on this volume could not be defragmented
How can I fix this? Tried SFC Scan, Disk Cleanup, Cleared All Temp Files, Ran CHKDSK /f and R, Ran C Cleaner and Defraggler, Pagefile Defragger, You name it. What else can I try? I want it to work propperly and something is stoping it from doing a complete defrag. Help!1 person needs an answerI do too

Problem Fixed! The files that could not be defragged are related to locked log files on AVG 9.0 Anti Virus. I fianlly pinned it down by downloading and installing Defraggler from the makers of C Cleaner. This is so much better of a program for doing a complete defrag it is not funny. So if you are having this problem, download this program and run it. When done click on the files tab and check and see what files are left. Now put a check mark in them and run the defrag at the bottom of the menu. Now analize it again and check to see what files are left. I bet they all refer back to AVG. So your search is over and there is nothing you can do with these files. Also nothing is wrong with your operating system look no more! You can clear them and delete the log but as soom as you reboot they are right back again. Happy Computing Dale
