Windows XP lock-up shortly after boot-up
Every day, shortly after boot-up, (but not a regular time interval) my system locks up.After re-booting it then runs quite happily and without interruption all day.This has been going on for a couple of months and I have not been able to isolate any particular application or hardware.All drivera are updated regularly and XP runs behind a firewall.AVG has not detected any virus.1 person needs an answerI do too

Please follow the instructions below to create a text file of all system errors in event viewer. Copy and paste the contents of the file in your reply. To view the details of an event, follow these steps: Click Start , and then click Control Panel . Click Performance and Maintenance , then click Administrative Tools , and then double-click Computer Management . Or, open the MMC containing the Event Viewer snap-in. In the console tree, expand Event Viewer , and then click on Systems. In the details pane, double-click the event that you want to view. < (This would be errors only) The Event Properties dialog box containing header information and a description of the event is displayed. To copy the details of the event, click the Copy button, then open a new document in the program in which you want to paste the event (for example, Microsoft Word), and then click Paste on the Edit menu. To view the description of the previous or next event, click the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW. Sometimes deciding which battle to fight is the toughest battle of all…..
