Windows XP hangs on blue status bar after booting to a different drive
I have a problem where my XP hangs on a blue status bar after booting into a new partition.Here is the Setup:I have two physical drives 40gb each on 1 computer.On Drive 1 I have XP installedOn Drive 2 I restored XP from the Ghost image I have saved from drive 1I have dual boot1. Win XP12. Win XP2 Here is the reproducable scenario:1. From cold boot I go into boot option 1 - > all OK2. From cold boot I go into boot option 2 - > Hangs on XP boot Blue Bar (this will be the case until reset button is pressed as below)3. Reset button pressed, I go into boot option 2 - > All OK4. From cold boot I go into boot option 2 - > All OK5. From cold boot I go into boot option 1 - > Hangs on XP boot Blue Bar (this will be the case until reset button is pressed as below)6. Reset button pressed, I go into boot option 1 - > All OK 7. From cold boot I go into boot option 2 - > Hangs on XP boot Blue Bar (this will be the case until reset button is pressed as below)and so on....Can someone please help me understand what is going on, or at lease how can I see what is being executed when the blue line hangs.Thank you. 1 person needs an answerI do too
