Hi Yepytzme, · When exactly your computer freezes? Is it when you login to Windows or when you try to perform certain tasks after the login?· Is your computer up-to-date with the latest updates and drivers?· Did you make any changes to the computer before it started freezing? As of now, I would suggest you to try the steps mentioned below. Method 1: Test the issue in Safe modehttp://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true Method 2: Perform a clean boot and then check the issuehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353Note: Once the troubleshooting is over, reset the computer to start as usual. Method 3: Perform a System restorehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084 Regards,Mouneshwar R – Microsoft Support-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think
