Windows XP does not boot up - Blue Screen
I don't know whether this is as a result of a Windows XP update?PC does not boot up in any mode (Safe, Normal etc.)I get a Blue Screen with the following Technical Information:***STOP: 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x86B56A50, 0xC00001202, 0x00000000)Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it and get the machine to boot up.Thanks for your help.1 person needs an answerI do too

When (at which point during boot up) does the blue screen appear?

Dude,If ur PC is not booting to desktop Boot From XP CD Go to Recovery Console Run chkdsk /r command it will fix the errorFor more info about Recovery Console click on below linkhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/314058

It gets past the Windows XP Screen and then goes to Blue Screen
