Hi, Let us know the details about the issue, especially the error message you received when trying to connect to the shared printer. More description is recommended, thanks! Besides, check if the driver for the printer is updated and designed for Windows Vista. Regards, Lionel Chen

I have a related problem with a wireless LAN. I have a printer connected to a desktop that is running XP but cannot print to it from my laptop that is running Vista. From the laptop I can see the desktop in Networks, can click on the printer I have created for Vista, but when I try to access it by clicking on the printer icon I get a message saying the proper drive is not installed. I have downloaded a Vista printer drive from Microsoft to the desktop but when I try to put the driver in the printer file XP will not let me do it. The printer Share tab is selected. When I try to print from my laptop it cues up but I get an "Error printing" message. Any ideas?
