When I click "Turn off computer", I keep getting "End Program...." messages amd the computer will not shut down. I scanned FAQ but can't find the solution to my problem.HELP!TimTThis mean that a program running on your system when you closed it, it didn't release the memory to the CPU and still hang. Either for undesired reason or a bad design/programming procedure! You can try to scan for malware and viruses on your system and also try to monitor the running process in real time using process Monitor from Microsoft per the link below:Process Explorer v12.04http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspxProcess Monitor v2.91http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx5 ways to speed up your PChttps://www.microsoft.com/atwork/maintenance/speed.aspxGet a free PC safety scanhttp://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmPlease read first then apply as required to your situation. Can you send us the Event Viewer Log for analysis? Also, can you test your memory by using the crash analysis tool:run this to test your memory on your computer.http://oca.microsoft.com/en/mtinst.exe nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk
