Windows XP SP3: when attepting to log on I get:Windows cannot load user's profile but has logged on with default profile for systemDETAIL: Insufficient system resources to complete the requested servicesClick on OK, and I get:Copy of Windows must be acivated with Microsoft before you can logon. Do you Want to acivate windows now?Click on Yes and I get:A problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the license for this compterError Code: 0x80004005I have repaired the OS, even reformated and reinstalled OS. Rename the Profile, deleated the profile.If this is was the first computer I have had this on in the last week I woulnd'nt think too much about it, but I have had 2 Desktops and 3 laptops. All running Windows XP SP3 and all working fine unitl one day they boot them up and wham.Any ideas, clues Help Please7 people need an answerI do too

Check out the forum at ars technica. Search for "virus like issues running rampant".A workround is to disable the display chipset in device manager. Check it out.ek.

Check out the forum at ars technica. Search for "virus like issues running rampant".A workround is to disable the display chipset in device manager. Check it out.ek. ANSWER!!!! It's a conflict caused by Symantec version 9. Remove Symantec and you will find the profile will now load correctly.ek.
