Windows XP Pro Volume License Edition and Upgrading to Windows 7
Hi all I was wondering whether or not anyone knows if it's possible to upgrade Windows XP Pro volume license editions using the retail upgrade packages available from Microsoft. We don't have a lot of PC's but enough to qualify for volume licensing which was still cheaper than buying retail at the time. But I was wondering if I can upgrade a few of these machines using the retail upgrade offer and whether or not it will affect my other PC's as they all utilize the same license key as it is a volume license key set for 50 PC's. We are not looking to upgrade right away but felt we should try the new version out on one or two machines first. Any info on this would be appreciated! Thanks!

j_price888 Darrell Gorter is correct - according to all statements released by Microsoft so far, all that is required to upgrade to Windows 7 is a verified genuine Windows XP or Windows Vista environment.-Alex
