I am running Windows XP mode on Windows 7 professional on work laptop. I need to run a java program that makes ftp connection to a remote corporate server and downloads some files and does the installation. This was working fine on my native Windows XP but does not work on Windows XP Mode on Windows 7.So I tried to debug what is going on using the FTP.exe program in Windows XP Mode.I noticed that the problem is the following: FTP ERROR 425 Can't open data connection.It appears that on Windows XP Mode, whether FTP.exe of Java program trying to do FTP, it does not get data connection for FTP services.Is this a known Windows XP Mode bug?Any workarounds?
