I hit PF7 and choose "no", that works for a minute or two, then back to page bottom I go again, and again, and again. Makes it hard to do anything. You can drape your computer with garlic braids and burn incense sticks nearby, but it will be more effective to start with the basics: The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't? The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and versions) did you use to determine this? Be sure the computer is clean: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware Come back with answers/results as well as a good description of your computer for further help. I like the garlic idea...I will try it in the event of the undead making an appearance. I ran current versions (real time updates) of avast anti-virus, stopzilla, and ad-aware ant-malware. Found nothing except a few cookies. This problem started suddenly, I had not made any changes to anything on the pc. I run the above apps regularly. thanks.

1. Does the problem occur only in one particular browser like Internet Explorer (if using IE, which one - IE6, 7, or 8)? 2. If you don't have another browser with which to test, download/install Firefox . 3. If the problem only occurs in IE, try running IE in no-add-ons mode in case one of your add-ons is the culprit. Troubleshooting and Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) Mode - http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/07/25/678113.aspx 4. If the problem occurs in all browsers and you really can't remember or pinpoint a change, try a System Restore to when things worked. System Restore is best when going back only a few days but since you say the problem occurred suddenly, that should be OK.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
