Windows XP Client Security Solution Secure Log In Failure
HiI read the forums but am unable to find solution (I think). Help is much needed and would be greatly appreciated.I have an IBM X40 laptop running Windows XP Professional. At log-in, I get: "Welcome to Windows - Windows XP Professional - Press Ctrl. + Alt. + Delete to begin."Doing this brings me to the "Client Security Solution Secure Log In" box. I'm then asked for my User Name, and Client Security Passphrase. The third prompt (Domain) defaults to an existing name. After typing my response, I receive the following Logon Mesage: "The system could not log you on. Make sure your user name and domain are correct, then type your password again." Despite multiple times carefully inputing the requested info., I still get the same Logon Message. Finally, I go to my Security Questions in an effort to recover the password. After responding to the 3 questions, (the answers to which I obviously know well - I wrote them), I get the following: Recovery Error - "Your password could not be recovered because the security questions were not answered." Nothing new downloaded or changed on my laptop recently. Only change: my wife tried to logon (our Dell XPS' video cards failed - therefore default to my laptop for the family PC while we wait for Dell repairs) and may have entered the incorrect username and or passphrase when prompted, but that is it.What can I do?? Please help!!1 person needs an answerI do too
