Windows XP, outlook express, socket error 11004, error number 0x800CCC0D. All server, connection, and advanced properties are set correctly. I seems like Outlook Express has stopped working--It will not retrive any mail from any account anymore. XP is installed on my desk top computer.-- Maybe(??) when I tried to send an email to a link email address from my (Vista) laptop and Microsoft Mail (or something like that intercepted it and asked me to set up a new mail account and I canceled)? After that I can't use Outlook Express. The laptop and the desk top use the same internet access at Comcast. I contacted Comcast and the tech at comcast says "all settings are correct---call Microsoft". 3 people need an answerI do too
