Windows Vista and Remote Desktop Registry Key issue
I use remote desktop to log in to my work account. Every few months or so, I get the message that the registry key has expired. I was told that the fix for this is to delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing\Store\LICENSE000 key from the registry. This works just fine in Windows XP to regenerate the registry key. However, I did this on my Windows Vista machine at home and now when I try to access my work account, I get the message that there are no Terminal Service client access licenses available. I have tried importing the above registry key after exporting it from a Windows XP machine. However, even though I get a message that says the key has been imported into the registry, when I check the registry it is not there, even after I have "unblocked" the file (don't know whether this is a vista function or other virus software) and rebooted my system. Please help!
