I have my windows 7 partitioned on my hard drive with windows vista as the main os. When i am in windows 7 and i go to my computer I can't see the widnows vista partition, why is that? I would like to pull music off of that partition as my windows 7 is a small partition... is there any way to make this happen?

They do not give your original boot partition a drive letter to prevent you from causing problems there. Advanced users know to simply give it a drive letter

Okay, I figured out how to get in to see my Vista partition and that's fine. The weird thing is that any files I add in Vista if I switch back to using it don't show up within Win 7. Some stuff just didn't show up at all that had been there for at least a few days. An example is in my Music folder I could see all the folders, but when I went to open the folder for an album the MP3 files weren't in there. So I rebooted to Vista and they were there still, so it's like it doesn't see *some* files for some reason? Is this a bug or something with the sharing of data between the different OSes?

I'd really like to see this addressed, or see if anyone has had a similar issue.
