Hello all.I have a Windows XP machine that keeps telling me that I need to install 2 security updates. KB956572 and KB981852. The problem is that these updates are already installed and appear in my Add/Remove Programs. So I go ahead and install the updates again anyway. The machine says the updates installed successfully. However after a system reboot, the same 2 updates pop up again saying that they need to be installed. I have removed/uninstalled the updates in question. Re-installed them. No success. They still come up as needing to be installed. I have tried re-registering the windows updates components and have cleared the temporary folders of windows update but still the same result.Does anyone have any tips or ideas?
