Windows Update not checking for updates.
I maintain a small network of about 50 computers, all Windows 7 x64 Enterprise. I manage my updates with a local WSUS server. While reviewing reports from the latest batch of updates, I notice that a large chuck of those computers have not installed the new updates. Upon sitting down in front of one of the offending computers, I find that it hasn't checked for updates in a little over a week. I find that many other computers on my network exhibit the same symptom. I have them set via GPO to check for updates nightly. I check the error logs, and there are no errors that point to a Windows Update problem, the machines simply are not checking for updates. Previous to this week they were checking for and installing updates fine. If I reset the Windows update components, it seems to fix the problem. I'd prefer not to walk around and touch 50 machines by hand to fix the issue, but I can't seem to find an automated way to fix the problem. A colleague recomended I redeploy the WUA, but I can't even get it to install manually, much less through Group Policy. I get the error in my screen shot. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
