Windows Update Driver conflict

I am running the following:

HP 625 / Business Notebook
Windows 7 Professional 32-bit w/SP1

When I install the update (driver id# 20441148) for Realtek PCIe FE Family Ethernet through Windows Update, my Broadcom 43xx (4313) Series Wireless b/g Card no longer functions correctly. I spent 4 hours troubleshooting to come to this conclusion.
The only way I can use my wireless card after installing this update is if I plug-in and unplug an ethernet cable into my Realtek Ethernet port first.

In notebooks do not use drivers from MS. Always install drivers from notebook support page.

Hi ,

If the issue occurs after updating the driver, you may try to roll back the driver of the Realtek PCIe FE Family Ethernet to previous version.
