I just finished up a fresh install of Vista on my machine after dealing with some Trojans that were really dug in.I thought the issues that I had with my ability to connect to the Update server were coming from the above issue; however, now that I have a fresh install, I am still faced with this issue. I can't even get to the windows website through Firefox to download SP1.I do have a valid internet connection. I can go anywhere on the net that I want as long as it doesn't involve downloading windows updates, or (the interesting part) AVG Home edition (which I have a subscription for).Is there still an infection somewhere in the system causing my networking woes, or can someone think of another issue?Any help would be appreciated.

We need specific error code to troubleshoot the problem. I also noticed the Windows Vista SP1 cannot be downloaded, you can take following steps to download and install Windows Vista SP1 directly.
