Windows Update Code 800F081F When Updating to SP1
As the title describes, I'm having trouble installing this update. Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium. HP Pavillion Elite e9180 desktop. I've tried the "Windows Update Troubleshooter" as well as the "System Update Readiness Tool". I've run Malwarebytes and Norton thoroughly to make sure I don't have a virus. I've tried doing downloading the update manually (windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe) and installing it and the normal method both in Safe Mode and in a "Clean Boot" mode with all antivirus turned disabled (Norton). I also tried the method suggested in this thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itprovistasetup/thread/3d6e2034-436c-4d83-9348-7d5081916054 I'm at a loss on what to do next...

Hi, to see the cause of Windows 7 update failures, we must look for error messages in the following log files: Please run the Windows Explorer and go to the folder "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\" and copy all files to your document folder, also copy the setupapi.dev.log from the folder C:\Windows\Inf, the "C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log" and the file "C:\Windows\winsxs\poqexec.log" to your document folder (otherwise you can't upload it), zip all files into 1 ZIP and upload the zip to your SkyDrive [1] and post a link here.
