I can't install update microsoft security update kb3033889 on my PC, when I try to install the stand alone update it says it's not applicable to my computer, but Belarc says I need this update.  Any ideas?

Are you using Windows 7? This update is meant for Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

It's Windows 8.1 yet Belarc says it's needed, maybe Belarc is wrong.

Check the update in Microsoft update catalog:

Find the proper one, download and install it , after that, check if issue could be solved.

Please upload Windowsupdate.log here, also along with the CBS.log.

Find them and then upload to OneDrive, then post the shared link here.

I got it sorted on 8.1, I did a refresh and it installed all the updates.  Thanks for all your help.
