Glad you include the error message as that works it done - review the Microsoft Troubleshooting KB article (very short) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827328 try the methods there and let us know as I just want to confirm you did those steps. Have you installed any security software or do you have any other 3rd party firewall installed? Any new programs installed like Zune? What did you change just prior to WLAN not working (if you remember). Hi, This issue can occur by virus or corrupted registry key. I suggest you update the virus definition and run a complete scan for a test. If the issue persists, please modify the following registry key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Ndisuio Please locate the "Start" key under above registry and modify it to 3. After that, please restart the machine and verify whether the Wireless service can be started. Thanks, Novak
