Hi,

Based on my research, I doubt there is no way to fix this probelm. Only Microsoft itself application, such as Office won't need licensed any more.

Hi Hassan,

The challenge with licensing applications running on Windows To Go are similar to licensing those applications on VDI.  Every time the hardware changes for Windows To Go or when the desktop refreshes on VDI, the CMID (Client Machine Identifier) changes and the application believes that it was copied to a new computer.

If the application supports network activation, that would be a solution.  Applications like adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Professional, and Autodesk AutoCAD support licensing/activation on a central license server.  This licensing model works similar to KMS activation for Windows.

You can ask the specific application developer if they support some type of network licensing model for your particular use case.

Warm Regards,

Chris
