Windows Sometimes Stops Responding When My Display Shuts Off
I have no screen saver. My monitor is set to shut off after 10 minutes of no activity. Sometimes after those 10 minutes, I go back to my computer and move the mouse, hit a key and nothing at all happens, the monitor is still in standby. I know something is up because my receiver stops getting a signal from my sound card and my Logitech G15 no longer responds to GamePanel commands. This happens maybe in 1 of 4 or 5 times my monitor shuts off. Event Viewer shows nothing at all happene except that it was restarted unexpectedly. I'm running Windows 7 x64 with an ATI Radeon 4850. All of my drivers are up to date and I've installed of the Windows 7 updates. This is INCREDIBLY irritating because every time I have to leave my computer chances are it's going to not wake up when I return.

Hi, I would like to suggest you update the BIOS and the monitor driver also to test the issue. Does it work? Regards,Arthur Li - MSFT
