Windows Security Center does not detect anti-virus
Windows Security Center does not detect my anti-virus any more i am using xp home 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi ukspider, ·What is the security software installed on your computer?·What is the service pack installed on your computer?·Have you installed the latest windows update on the computer? Try the below methods and check the results:Method 1:a. Check if the below settings in windows security center:b. To specify that you're using an antivirus program that Windows does not findc. Click Start and then click Control Panel.d. Double-click Security Center.e. In the Security Center, under Virus Protection, click Recommendations. (The Recommendations button is not available when your Virus Protection setting is marked ON.) f. In the Recommendations dialog box, check if “I have antivirus software that I'll monitor myself” check box is checkedNote: You should only disable these alerts if you are sure that your computer is protected by the full version of an up-to-date antivirus program. In addition, once you disable alerts, even if your program receives an update that makes it fully detected within Security Center, you will not receive alerts unless you clear this check box.Method 2:Follow the below steps:a. Click Start, select command prompt in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.b. At the command prompt, type the following commands. Pressing ENTER after each command line:winmgmt /verifyrepositorywinmgmt /salvagerepositoryc. Restart the computer. Method 3:Also, run online virus scan and check if any malware or virus activity found on the computer.
