Well now it's started. Sp1 has started it's rollout. Now some users complain that their computers are locked and they cannot work... I know I can block this in WSUS, but it seems to me that the deployment of SP1 is too large for normal workflow. I cannot hold it back forever, and users need to install this whilst their computers are ON. So it cannot be done after work hours... And most have laptops anyways. What is recommended here, and why cant this SP1 be faster to install. Our company now has 600 windows 7 clients (x64). We have not set any changes for SP1. Did anything change now. Is SP1 mandatory now? People claim they did nothing to start this install. Restarting the computer does not stop this install.
