Windows Remote Assistance- Connecting Windows 7 with Windows XP
I am trying to run Windows Remote Assistance on my Domain through our IT admin accounts so we can fix clients computers remotely. Our IT admin's computers in their offices are running Windows 7 and our clients are all running XP. I just installed XP on my IT admin computer to test out the XP machine and I can connect to my clients machines with that. I have disabled Microsoft's Firewall on all of the computers and we are running an outside Firewall that is much more secure. I have enabled remote assistance on each computer. Technically it should work but It just won't.I have read many forums about the problem and have seen people answering about how using NAT should work and running "Windows Messenger should work" but those aren't answers to the problem because it doesn't change anything that Windows Remote Assistance uses. Please help so i can get the client base working right.-Thanks-IT Net.
