As of yesterday when I attempt to check for updates I get the Code: 80244019;WindowsUpdate_dt000 error and the update scan fails - I can not figure out what the cause is...

Hello thommac,Can you access the internet or is just Windows Update that wont work? Check to make sure any services required to update are running such as DCOM and BITS.
