While viewing images, when i tried to print the same, there was no printer listed except FAX. i checked the devices in control panel and my printer (HP Laser Jet 1020) was installed properly. Other softwares are showing the printer but not the windows picture viewer. I have to install third party viewer which are not good as windows picture viewer. Any suggestions what i m missing?

I m using Windows 7 RC, 32 Bit. Computer Specs are Intel Dual Core E5200, Asus p5QL-CM, 3 GB Corsair 800 DDRII, Seagate 500 Gb SATA II.

Why is this shown answered ? That is not an answer to the original question. I have same problem (interesting that it is also an HP printer, this time a photosmart 8200). If you use right mouse to print a photo this is using windows print function and this fails but if I print from applications such as word, excel etc the printer is shown. Any application such as windows photo viewer that calls the windows print routine does not work in that printer does not appear (only fax and XPS document). I can print photos OK from MS-Paint,

Greatings after setting up a replacement PC with WIN-7 we also have the same issue any one found a cure for this??
