Windows PE 5.1 and Symantec Ghost on UFD

Hello,

I recently created a Windows PE 5.1 bootable UFD to run Ghost32 and Multicast over my network. Im running into a problem, when I get to my final client and the Multicast begins all of the devices that do not have the flash drive plugged in crash. Only the devices with the UFD still connected are successful. I need to do many at a time. How can I ensure that everything is loaded into RAM that is on the flash drive? Im new to this so bear with me. Thanks.

Hi,

Not sure if my explanation was clear. Basically, I need everything on the flash drive to load in to x:/ so I can unplug the flash drive after I begin my multicast to move on to the next device to be imaged.

Thanks, any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Since Ghost 32 is not hosted by Microsoft, I am afraid we cannot provide any support on this, Id suggest that we post at community Ghost 32. There you can get more effective suggestion by other experts who familiar with design of this software. Your understanding is highly appreciated. If you need to deploy system on your environment, here is the recordation from Microsoft.
