Windows Network settings
Hi, I recently attempted to set up a homegroup but was unsuccessful in doing so. In the process, I also changed some settings under the Network Sharing Centre. What those settings were I am uncertain of. All I know is that before I started playing around, my internet connection was super fast. I called HP Support and I called my ISP and none of them could help me. HP said they would charge me $59.00 to help me with the issue. I never had system restore activated before I made any changes so I can't use that option. My Network shows up as Name-HP - linksys - Internet Which seems fine. When I click on the linksys icon, I see two items under Network Infrastructure. One says "Internet Gateway Service" and the other is "WRTN160" which I believe the the type of router I have. I don't recall seeing two items under Network Infrastructure before I made any changes. Now my internet connection is fair to poor. Right now it shows that I have one active home network. I obviously did something wrong and now it's costing me. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
