Windows Media Player network sharing services has stopped working.
I get a frequent message saying "Windows Media Player network sharing services has stopped working" and asked me to send the crash report. I clicked on the send information and the same message keep on appearing every time I log on to window. Can anyone help me on how to solve this or disable the media player network sharing application ? Thank you..

Just go into MSCONFIG, then the services tab, and uncheck Windows Media Playet Network Sharing Services, click apply, reboot, and you won't see that error anymore.

that's not a solution... that's disabling a service, not fixing it. since installing windows 7 sp1 i constantly get this, as i use xbox360 to share media from my computer i just can't shut off the service. also for some reason media sharing sometimes gets turned off constantly and sometimes it stays working even after the error report prompts. randomly changes behaviour with each restart.
