The old but really good Windows Movie Maker in Win XP needs to be updated and brought back to life in the next release of Win 7 Service Pack. The new version (Live Movie Maker) that Win 7 makes available is just too limited. Same also holds true for Windows Live Photo Gallery which replaced the "Picture It 9" version that we had as part of our Win XP (that may have a been a separate software bundle - not sure anymore since I retired that PC).
