Windows Live Mail deletion of e-mail
How are the contents of folders (Inbox, Sent, etc) mass deleted? I can delete them one at a time, but there is nothing in the tool bar to choose "Select All" . Please advise. Bob1 person needs an answerI do too

Press CTRL+A . Press ALT+E and click Select all .I I tried both suggestions, but neither of them worked. Nothing happened when I opened the Inbox, and tried to delete all of the e-mails in it. Bob

If I access WLM directly your suggestions do not work. But, if I access WLM via Hotmail I can use the tool bar to delete the contents of a folder. (I just stumbled cross this.) Bob

I just did some tests, and both suggestions work for me in Windows Live Mail. To delete everything in the Inbox: 1. Click Inbox in the list of folders. 2. Press CTRL+A , or press ALT+E and click Select all . 3. Click Delete . What happens when you do it?Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

I'm glad that you found something that works. Windows Live Mail (WLM) is the E-mail program on your computer. Windows Live Hotmail is what you access at the Hotmail web site. The names are similar, but they're different things. Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
