Windows Live Mail
I noticed that Win 7 will be using WLMail, can anyone tell me how passwords are to be stored, just on local machine or will they be kept on a Microsoft server somewhere? Also if Microsoft will be monitoring mail throughput for ANY reason?

Windows Live Mail is the new version of Outlook Express inWindows XP. It stores passwords locally in an encrypted location. I recall it is somewhere in the user profile.Windows Live mail is not a part of Windows 7. It must be downloaded separately after install.Microsoft is in no way monitoring the mail you are sending or receiving using Windows Live Mail. Here is some more information about how passwords for Outlook Express are stored. This is the same for Windows Live Mail http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/community/columns/passwords.mspx Ray

No Live Mail is the replacement for Windows Mail. From what I understand they are mostly the same.
