Windows Key not responing to open start menu
I just upgraded my computer to Windows 7 Pro. One of the main issues I am having is that I am unable to click the windows key on the keyboard to open the start menu on my notebook. I tried to hold the windows key and hit TAB but it still doesn't respond. If I hold the windows key and hit L it does lock the system. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?Incase its helpful here are a couple other things that could be related. - I can't ALT + TAB between windows - On some programs that are currently running (say IE) if I click on the icon in the task bar and then select the window I would like to use it, it doesnt bring that window to focus. I basically have to minimize all the windows and then select the window I want to use.

What notebook do you have as it sounds as though you haven't updated the drivers for the laptop, also update the bios as your symptoms certainly seems to point to a driver issue.
