Windows Journal - Drawing figures (circles/lines/rectangles) is a pain in the ____...
Why is drawing figures such a pain in the ____ in Windows Journal? Really I don't understand... Microsoft can create Windows 7, office, handwriting recognition and a bunch of other beautiful applications... but they can't add a shape recognizer or drawing tools to Windows Journal...? Why can xournal (alternative to Windows Journal) do what Windows Journal can't? Does MS maybe think that we all have a very (very) steady hand when it comes to drawing circles/lines? Please don't come to me with that I should do the following: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Create-and-personalize-handwritten-notes-using-Windows-Journal "You can add basic shapes to your notes. Just draw the shape and then convert it to the shape that you want. 1. Open Windows Journal by tapping the Start button , typing Journal in the search box, and then tapping Windows Journal in the list of results. 2. On the Pen toolbar, tap Pen. 3. In an open space in your note, draw a shape (for example, a square). 4. On the Pen toolbar, tap Selection Tool‌ , and then draw a loop around the drawing. 5. Tap the Actions menu, point to Change Shape To, and then tap the name of the shape (for example, tap Square to make it look like a square)." I don't have time to do all those actions during a college... When I'm drawing a electrical diagram, graph, etc... Also don't come to me that I have to use onenote. Because that application is far to process intensitive when you've already written 4 pages full and my energy scheme is on "energy saving" because one does not always have access to an electrical connector to charge your laptop when you've fulltime college. I think many tablet users, I know I am, would be greatly enthusiastic about a shape recognition and a ruler such as implemented in xournal. Till the time being I will be making my college notes in xournal in ubuntu. What the meaning is of this topic? Inform MS about the incabeble program Windows Journal. Couldn't find anyway to reach them. Futhermore I would like to know what the opinion is of other tablet users.
