Windows Installer looking for unknown software disk
During Start-up, I receive a message which indicates Windows Installer is trying to install a software package which I don't have available. It tells me to insert the software disk for installation. I have to cancel the installation. How can I get this installation to stop appearing whenever I start up?1 person needs an answerI do too

Since you didn't mention what the Installer is looking for, I can't suggest what program CD (or installer) to use. If you do know what the Installer is looking for and you know you don't have the CD, then you can stop the Installer by using the Cleanup Utility.Clean Up MSI (Windows Installer) -http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
