Windows Installer Message:
Windows Installer Pane comes up every time I start my Pc, or try to open a program, or go to IE . and it runs and runs, then finally will disappear and I can do what I want, but, say I go to IE, then do a search, yup, the Windows Installer window pane opens,, and it runs and runs ..I've tried all the suggestions on the web to no avail .. I can't locate it on my PC ??I've ran 5 different registry programs hoping that would be the fix, nada..vr,

Hi, Reregister the installer enginea. Click start, click Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.b. At the command prompt, type the following, and then press Enter after each line: MSIExec /unregister MSIExec /regserverMethod 2.Check if the issue exists in Safe Mode with networking, if the computer works as expected in safe mode with networking then we can troubleshoot the issue in clean boot state.a. Refer to the article below for safe mode steps in Windows XPA description of the Safe Mode Boot options in Windows XPhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222 b.
