Hi,· Since when are you facing this issue?· Do you remember making any changes to the system?· Do you have any third party firewall installed on the system? I would suggest you to refer the article mentioned below.Using Windows Firewallhttp://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/security/winfirewall.mspxHow can I turn on or turn off the firewall in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later versions?http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283673 It might also be that, Security Center is loading before the Windows Firewall completely loads. If you continue to see the alert, however, there is a very good chance are that you are seeing the affects of an infection. See if you can download/run the Malicious Software Removal tool manually:http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.aspx · Do you have any security software installed on the system? If not, I would suggest you to install Microsoft security essentials on the system and then scan your system for any virus or malware. It is easy to install and use. Check the link mentioned below.http://www.microsoft.com/securepc Thank you and Regards.
