I suggest you reinstall the latest device driver, then go to Service, set the fax service to start automatically. Then see the result. Regards, MiyaMiya Yao TechNet Community Support

hi. i tried to turn it off, then return it on, through control panel. there isnt a driver as such for fax device. now it says, "This machine is not connected to the fax printer on the selected fax server. Connecting to the fax printer on the fax server is required to render the fax content. Click yes to connect to the fax server automatically now, or no to return to the fax compose page." Clicked on yes, it says "Could not add the fax printer. An error has occured." Went to Tools, then fax account, tried add why i dont have the first option " the modem option" available. i do have a modem on my laptop. i did try to update its driver, but it says its already up to date. is it normal to have "All fax accounts inaccessible"? thank you very much again. Hello, have you solved the problem discussed above? I have the same problem. suddenly my windows 7 stopped sending faxes. First it says it cannot find the pages associated with the fax. then then RPC server is unavailable. all fax accounts are unavailable. I started a new fax account, and it gives me the same message. I went and restarted the fax in services, looked at rpc server (remote point control). all ok. Please help!
