Windows Explorer refresh problem

Hi,

We have recently upgraded our server system for one of our applications to 2008 and 2012 server. We have a bespoke application which creates logfiles and inputs them onto a public share for which users and admins alike can view. The folders are not appearing in the share once the process has been completed until at least 3-4 minutes after after continually refreshing. Infact on the generating server you cannot see the output from the application.

Is this familiar to anybody?

Things we have tried:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanworkstation\Parameters

a.Directory cache, by setting "DirectoryCacheLifetime" to ZERO.
b.File Not Found cache, by setting "FileNotFoundCacheLifetime" to ZERO.
c.File information cache, by setting "FileInfoCacheLifetime" to ZERO

That has not worked. this has been configured on the generating server and the server which the share is on.

The following registry settings were added to CBTESTBMDB04 and CBTST01ATMGW03.
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate , currently set to 1 was changed to 0

Thee last onewas a long shot.

I am now at a loss as to what could be causing it. It seems to be a fairly common problem with Windows explorer and just wondered whether any MVPs have any ideas we can try?

thanks
