Windows Explorer Jump-List stopped working
My Jump-List for Windows Explorer suddenly stopped working. I've tried to un-pin it, re-pin it, pin new folder locations, all of which does work - it just refuses to offer a jump-list of other folder locations. Any ideas on how to get it working again?

Any error message? How long had you been using it? and when did it stopped? do you recall what changes have you made before it stopped? have you tried system restore?CESabarre Free Tech Support Bad News: There really is no such thing as Free Tech Support. No error message. The pinned items just don't show any more. The only options that do show are: Windows Explorer Unpin this program from the taskbar Close all windows Above these items I used to have links to various folder locations and they're gone. Can't recreate them Where is this information stored? Registry? Special Folder? I'd like to go clear it out. I've been using this since day 1 almost a year now. I didn't make any significant changes that I can recall - didn't install or change anything. Maybe did an install of updates (Windows Defender if I recall correctly). System restore? For a broken jump-list? That's just crazy - bit like using a jack-hammer to remove bird-____ from the floor.

· All the Jump Lists items are saved in the following locations: %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations Please cut the items from the above two folders and paste them to a safe place for backup. Unpin the item and then restart the computer. After the restart, please re-pin the item and run it. Please check if the issue can be resolved. It's a hidden folder that will not be visible, but it's there. You have to copy and paste the above link into your Start | Run or your explorer address bar. Jaans

Linda, I did exactly what you said to do, because I had the same problem as the originator of this discussion, and now I can have pinned websites again! Thank you! Perhaps you can solve another issue I'm having. On that pinned list, I would like to be able to open each of those pinned websites in a new window, instead of them getting added on as a tab on Explorer. I need to be able to look at websites side by side on my screen. Do you know how to make it so that each of those pinned websites I have, open up in a new window? Thanks for your help.
