Hi I have a copy of this RC on my laptop and it looks as though the timebomb is about to go off. Disk cleaners have removed the backup files and i cant uninstall it. I dont want to do anything to the Win7 Ultimate 64 Bit as to reinstall the program would mean me loosing alot of stuff. Is there a work around for this issue that Microsoft has or some way to simply remove the timebomb as I have a genuine copy of the system? Robert

Probably not, as the installer will probably tell you to first remove the existing installation, or simply fail. This is why using third party disc cleaners or even the Microsoft tool without carefully evaluating the options inevitably causes trouble.
