Windows Enterprise trial all gone?
I'm following the Springboard links to get the 90 day Enterprise trial version of Windows, but after receiving the email and clicking the link in it it's just taking me to the MS consumer Windows 7 page. Are all the trial downloads gone? Is the download just not working at the moment? If the trials are all gone, how the ____ am I going to get an evaluation copy to see if I can install on our desktops? Buy it first? Fat chance. Please help me out here - am I doing something wrong? I guess this question is asked a lot but I actually can't find an answer despite searching.

Thx for that. Well, I hope they see fit to introduce more evaluation editions in the future, as I can't understand how they think they'll sell to business if they don't...

Incidentally, the word I used in my first post that got blanked out was the word which means the "opposite to heaven". Funny how the censorship thing can make a sentence seem far worse than it actually was lol .

The Enterprise trial is for IT pros to test application compatibility and deployment strategies. If are identified are a student, Tech Enthusiast, or consumer, you will be redirected to the consumer page. There is no trial for consumers. This is trial software designed for IT Professionals interested in experiencing the Windows 7 Enterprise on behalf of their organization so please read the following to get an idea of the risks and key things you need to know before you install. We do not recommend that you install this if you are a not an IT Professional or not professionally managing corporate networks. Guidelines on usage: Protect your PC and data. Be sure to back up your data and please dont test Windows 7 on your primary home or business PC. You have 10 days to activate the product. If not activated within 10 days, the system will shut down once every hour until activated. Unsure on how to activate? Visit our FAQ. The 90-day Trial is the full working version of the Windows 7 Enterprise, the version most of you will be working with in your corporate environment. It will not require a product key (it is embedded with the download). The 90-day Trial will shut down once every hour when you have reached the end of the 90-day evaluation period. The 90-day Trial is offered for a limited time and in limited quantity. The download will be available through March 31, 2010, while supplies last. After the 90-day Trial expires, if you wish to continue to use Windows 7 Enterprise, please note that you will be required to purchase and perform a clean installation of Windows 7, including drivers and applications. Stay informed. You can keep up with general technical information and news by following the Springboard Series blog. Want technical guidance, tips, and tools? Visit the Springboard Series on TechNet. Keep your PC updated: Be sure to turn on automatic updates in Windows Update in case we publish updates for the 90-day Trial. Microsoft Partners-: Learn more about Windows 7 on the Microsoft Partner Portal. Be aware, this is a 90 day trial and will require a complete wipe of your machine back to your previous OS or to a new OS. Since there are no feature changes from the Release Candidate to the RTM version, it was not key for non-IT pros to have this product. If your checking final bit compliancy, then this build may be key for you.For more on the eval visit http://windowsteamblog.com/blogs/springboard/archive/2009/09/01/windows-7-enterprise-90-day-evaluation-now-available.aspxYou can download the Eval here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc442495.aspx?ITPID=wtcfeedStephen
